Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
